Possibly the highest profile environmental retailer in the world today, The Body Shop has the highest standards of practice when it comes to environmental services. In 2009 the green house were awarded the waste and recycling services contract for the UK. During that time the green house has been responsible for increasing recycling to over 85% and achieving service levels of over 98%.
the green house and The Body Shop have also worked in partnership on an innovative new logistics model enabling delivery vehicles to return packaging material to central hubs for bulking and direct recycling, completely removing the requirement for waste collection services at all.

UK RECYCLING SOLUTIONS
Since 2007 the green house has been solely responsible for the services of waste and recycling at every Goldsmiths Jewellers in the UK. The senior management team wanted a contract where they could delegate management responsibility to a expert 3rd party and chose the green house as that partner.

ZERO WASTE TO LANDFILL
Carphone Warehouse is Europe’s leading independent retailer of mobile phones and services with over 2,400 stores in 9 countries. In 2009 Carphone Warehouse decided to pursue a policy of ZERO Waste to Landfill at their non-retail sites beginning with their Corporate Head Office in Acton, London.
the green house was chosen to design, implement and manage the systems to allow Carphone Warehouse to make the transition – successfully completed by the end of 2009
Pall-ex
BESPOKE ENVIRONMENTAL LOGISTICS
The Pall-Ex network boasts a membership of around 100 of the UK’s leading hauliers. Each Pall-Ex member collects freight from customers and delivers it to the hub. There it is sorted and loaded onto the vehicle of the network member responsible for the destination postcode. Along the way Pall-ex comes into contact with large quantities of packaging material that it believed could be easily recycled.
Pall-ex entered into a partnership with the green house to create the UK’s first logistics network Recycling Services – called ecoDrive.
the green house has designed a bespoke system that allows Pall-ex, its members and its clients to easily recycle their packaging material without having to organise a waste collection service. A truly innovative service.
Sally Salon Services
COMPLETE WASTE ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTION
A recent addition to the green house family Sally Salon Services is the UK’s largest supplier of hair care products. With over 220 retail outlets they have an large production of Hazardous and Electrical items that need disposing of.
Sally Salons chose the green house as their UK partner to handle the collection, disposal and audit trails of all their waste products to ensure Best Practice throughout their systems.
