Key Account Management
Landfill as an end point for commercial waste is an archaic concept that commercially is in decline. Alternative solutions for dealing with the disposal of waste from businesses are required that meet commercial, operational and ethical standards.
the green house has built an impressive network of alternative solutions that it currently offers its clients – resulting in increased levels of sustainability, transparency and reduction in costs.
the green house has extensive experience in commodity trading and can help businesses turn waste from a cost into a valuable resource generating revenues from materials such as cardboard, plastics and cooking oil.
Key Account Management
The reason many businesses find themselves with bloated and uncompetitive services is because they lack an internal resource who is knowledgeable enough about the sector to understand the requirements and the availability of services.
This is understandable because it is a new industry and new services are launching all the time across the UK.
What is required is the daily management of services and this is something the green house excels at. For a management fee from as little as 88p per site per day the green house will manage the services at each site, offering a range of services that will add value to your business.
Access to the green house network
the green house is not your typical waste management company and does not use any National Waste Collection companies to perform any of the 500,000 scheduled collection services it manages each year. Instead, the network is built of local and regional independent recycling companies that have excellent local knowledge in the area’s they cover providing the ultimate in service quality and flexibility.
the green house does not make any margins or profits on waste collections. Revenues are generated from commodity trading, savings shares on optimised services and management fees. As well as ensuring a completely aligned set of objectives with our clients (reducing waste volumes, not unit rates) it also means we have no conflict of interest with our supply chain who understand we make our own revenues instead of adding margins to their operational services.
Finally, in our efforts to build the UK’s finest National Waste and Recycling Network we created a brand new company to help our Supply Chain members to manage their own overheads. Supply and Save is the UK’s first and only dedicated Waste and Recycling Industry Buying Group and encompasses the green house network as its members. Supply and Save has over 60 category spends under management and currently helps the green house network manage over £200M of annual procurement.
Each member is bound by a single SLA framework allowing the green house to offer both high-levels of performance and competitive local pricing.
Real-time Business Intelligence
We have the very best in customer care offering our clients real-time monitoring of services, 24/7 access to reports, automated ordering systems and full audit-trails for services.
Dedicated Key Account Managers provide up-to-date information on service performance, opportunities and the latest on legislative requirements.
As a Head Office you need only to know that things are working and if something does go wrong you need to know that is being dealt with quickly.
There are times when you need access to information on services for an important review or meeting. What is the service success rate? How many missed collections in the last quarter? How are the costs being managed?
the green house service ensures that the right people have the right information at the right time.
Education
One of the biggest difficulties of implementing a better environmental system is ensuring the co-operation of every member of staff.
the green house provides unique opportunities for cultural change through its innovation including practices like ecoPacks, league tables, competitions and collaborative working.
We will take away the headache of trying to communicate new recycling systems to staff by doing the work for you.
We can directly train Key Personnel such as Regional Managers and work with your internal marketing department to ensure that the marketing communications are clear and easy to understand.
Legal compliance
In the last 5 years there has been a number of important new laws passed that affect how businesses can deal with certain wastes.
Unless you keep a watchful eye on these things it is unlikely that you will know how it affects your business or what you need to do to comply with it correctly.
Revenue generation
Too many businesses still throw away materials they think of as waste and pay for someone to collect it. In fact it is possible that this material could actually make them a profit!
Each week the green house helps its clients to generate revenue from its waste using the green house network to deliver and collect materials such as cardboard and plastics.
From both a financial and environmental point of view this is one of the biggest ‘wins’ a business can have and the green house can make this a reality for your business.
