the green house believes that they key to environmental awareness is still largely down to
education or in many cases
re-education; unlearning processes that have been commonplace for businesses for many years. On taking on any new client the green house automatically commits to educating that customer on all the new processes, systems and reasons for changing but the commitment to education as a core value goes much deeper.
the green house extends this commitment to working with our member network – hundreds of waste and recycling collection companies, technology providers, energy companies and more – to help them understand the needs of the market place and the responsibility they have in offering sustainable solutions.
As an environmental services management company the green house is very close to it’s client base – ranging from small owner managed businesses up to the largest corporate retailers. It is our duty to educate our suppliers on the systems we are developing for our clients and helping them understand the reasons for doing so to help push our industry forward together.
In managing the services for such businesses our work comes into contact with the public and in doing so gives us a further responsibility to doing what we can to pass our message to anyone who comes into contact with our work. With education as a core value we commit to offering advice to our client’s clients on the services we are providing and the reasons for doing so.
We commit to looking internally at our own people who, in giving employment and work, we owe a responsibility to enable them to do that work to the best of their abilities. We do this both for their own personal development and for the benefit our our customers. We will undertake to ensure that every member of our team has the opportunity for education and training.
Finally, as a business operating at the forefront of the environmental industry we owe a responsibility to sharing that knowledge with anyone who comes into contact with our line of work so that we can help to educate them and move our industry forwards. In this case, it means anyone who comes into contact with the environment, which at last count, was everyone!
