As anyone reading this blog will know we like to do things a little different at the green house. As a business we alway’s strive to push the boundaries of what our ‘industry norms’ are (if anyone does know can they tell us please?). The waste industry is not particularly known for its creatvity or innovation and that is what makes the green house stand out.

The government has been very cagey about their intentions for landfill tax past 2011 – the originally agreed timespan set by Gordon Brown as Chancellor. Conspiracy theorists point towards lack of understanding and foul-ups relating to PFI and new technologoies – in particular Britains inability to choose a route forward to replace landfill. More likely is that the wider economic issues have taken up the resource at Whitehall and it has simply slipped down the agenda.
