Johnny Five is ALIVE!!

Categories: the green house

6 whole months in the making and more missed deadlines Portsmouth Football Club Tax Bill (too soon?) we have FINALLY finished our new look the green house website.

It’s a huge leap forward for us in several ways:

It’s a bold and brave new design. We had a lot of help from US design supremo, Dan Marcolina who gave us the excellent artistic direction to follow.

It now includes all five of our core services, now demonstrating recycling, carbon, energy, renewables and education. A big step forward for unleashing our model of a total environmental management company into the wild. I can’t wait to see the reaction from the public on this.

It’s a new look blog too. Hopefully the refresh might mean I find the time to visit just a little more often ;-)

We still have several pages to add. Most notably:

Our collaborations with artists like Giles Miller and Nicky Ward,
Our CSR reporting page
Integration with our Customer Portals so clients can login directly from thegreenhouse.co.uk

Probably most exciting of all is our new video that is currently in production in Vancouver, Canada. It is being made by the ridiculously talented Kasey Lum, a motion designer who is a graduate of Vancouver Film School (VFS). I’ve seen some early footage and, let me tell you, it looks great. Talk about the cherry on top of the bun! It should be ready in the next week or so and will take pride of place on our homepage so look out for that.

Before I finish I also want to say a big big thank you to our very own Hubert Grzesiek for his work on the website. He has had a stupid amount of deadlines to meet with launching our new business Supply and Save as well as coding the new website so thank you Hubert

Ok, time for me to go. A very important 3pts today at home for Burnley vs. Portsmouth in the English Premier League so ‘come on the lads!’
